A day never goes by...

Well this is it, Lil. I've done the blog as you have suggested as never a day goes by that my kids don't make me feel all one million emotions. Frustration, anger, happiness, sadness, joy, love, annoyance, peace, calm and occassionally, disappointment.

I'll start off by saying that my two incredible teens are just that - incredible. We're very close, which given normal teenagers, is actually abnormal. They're both highly intelligent and I love spending time with them. They often surprise me with their deep-seated care for each other even though they argue. Then again, I've often said that siblings should be the best of enemies as well as the best of friends. With only 20 months between them, sometimes you get the friends/enemies thing coming out in the same sentence of complaint.

"I love him but he's annoying."
"She's great and all but I just wish she wouldn't do that."

M - is a 15 year old girl.
A - is a 13 year old boy.

This is my form of high procrastination. I'm supposed to be working... and instead I'm doing what Lili told me to do. Why do I listen to her?

Today, though, A has made me laugh with his visual acting and interpreting of Billy Joel's "Piano Man". I threatened to film him and put it on YouTube and it didn't stop him one bit. He looked at me as though daring me to get the camera!

Well, if anything else funny/weird happens today, I'll let y'all know.

(I'll try to remember to post the number of times I've asked A to lower his volume)
It's 3:00pm and today's count is up to 7.
